New Parent Support
I provide individual therapy sessions for new moms and dads who need additional support during this pivotal time in their life. A change in routine, lack of sleep, and new roles can create additional stress and exacerbate other problems.
The transition to parenthood is challenging for everyone, moms and dads alike. It can be stressful not only within yourself but hard on relationships with your loved ones (e.g., spouse/partner). In my work with new parents, I aim to support parents not only in their transition to a parenting role, but also with regard to impact on their own identity and their relationships in general.
